Amanda warned me about ordering plants through the mail. I get lots of catalogs full of gorgeous glossy pictures of plants that I long to see in my garden. So I went out on a limb and ordered a few. I have really wanted some phlox (that's what's in the picture). When I opened the package, this is what I saw. I just hope it makes it through the winter.

It kind of looks like something that might kill you.
Don't worry, it's harmless. Maybe I should go out and see if there are any dead animals laying next to it. If it killed rabbits I would plant it all over!
I give it a 60 percent chance of survival.
