The Plague

I have 2 sick kids on my hands. Rachel and Adam are both under the weather. Rachel got it first, Sunday afternoon she stared coughing a bit, but we let her go to Gopher's. We should not have. By Sunday night she was very warm and looked rather pale. She stayed home from school Monday, her voice was gone, and she layed on the couch all day. Now Adam is very warm and laying on the couch. He has been bouncing off the walls since Halloween, so this is actually a nice break. Rachel is still in bed this morning (it's 8:30), so she must still feel icky. Please pray for us that this will pass quickly. I have 2 more kids that will probably get it. It feels like we'll be sick all winter at this rate.

Your aren't the only ones. Hannah and James had it on Saturday. They did a few things but mostly spent the day laying around.
You can Adam is sick because you took his picture and he's not trying to escape. :)

I'll keep my distance from all of you sick people. I hope they will be feeling better very soon.

With everybody down I was able to make a little applesauce and a coffee cake. All is not lost.

Time change is never fun here, either!!! The kids are baffled by the darkness that comes right after supper.

Hope the kids feel better soon. In the mean time I hope you enjoy some of the quietness. :)
It would be odd for a child to all of the sudden see the darkness right after supper. Oh, to see things through the eyes of a child. I for one am NOT excited about winter. It's been close to 70 here still, but I hate the cold.
