Flowers and Bugs

Aha! Finally a decent crocus picture. I was going to post one a week ago but it was blurry.

Adam had a little extra time in school today, so he was able to draw this picture he called Bug City. I loved it. Five minutes after he walked through the door he cut all the bugs apart. Bug City isn't even a town now. At least I have this picture of his picture.

I took some pictures of my crocus with snow flakes last week, but somehow I have lost them. Mine are yellow and white. Lots of tulips and daffodils are up but not blooming yet. Spring is here - Michigan just hasn't quite figured it out yet.

I just noticed Anna's little face peaking out from the door. :)

There are all kinds of orange beetles with black spots crawling on just one window upstairs. Come visit on a sunny day! I planted 2 doz. crocus last fall and only one came up. What's up with that? And it never even bloomed. It came up, got a bud and then poof was gone. Do squirrels eat them?

Love the picture! Although I'm kind of with Adam in the desire to destroy bugs. They're not my favorite!

Oh my! That would have been a great picture to frame! I loved it - I like bugs better than snakes, lizards, etc. Oh well, maybe you'll be able to snatch up another picture before it is cut up. Adam is growing up so fast. So cute.
