Adam has been trying to thwart baths for a few weeks now. He is 5. Maybe that is normal kindergarten behavior, but I just always thought he would love to take baths.
Here is part of a conversation from this evening...
Me: "Adam, you are the last one - now get in the tub!"
Adam: "No! I had to take a bath the last time!"
Me: "You don't want to be the stinky kid in class!"
Adam: "Actually Shawn's the stinky kid in my class."

I always feel a little guilty when I laugh at the expense of someone else.
Thank God he didn't say Blake....
Poor Shawn.
Poor Shawn - but it is a funny story. I couldn't help but laugh out loud.
Kyleen! Like anyone at your house could be stinky.
oh great now I can't use shawn as a baby name!!
About a week ago I came home to find that Mackenzie had just taken a shower and Amber was in the process of getting into the tub. Usually I have to enourage them greatly about taking a bath/shower and I was surprised it had happened while I was out. Anyway..Mackenzie said that Amber stunk and that's why bathing had occured. I thought it was odd that Amber stunk but thought something must have happened while I was out.
Just shortly after this conversation I came into the den where the coach is (that's where Amber had been) and said "What stinks? Is there a mouse in the trap behind the coach?" Sure enough, it was not Amber who was stinky. It was our friend Mr. Mouse.
Yes..the smell is gone after Lysol was applied.
