Since I've had such an awful time at baking this week I figured it was time to move on to gardening. I spent all afternoon outside yesterday removing dead junk and trying to dig out some plants that are doing their best to take over the entire area. I am the boss around here (with the flowers, I mean) and I'm not pregnant this year, so no excuses- everything will be in tip-top shape!
I love when the 4 big kids play together. I think it's because I don't keep wondering where someone is- the pack is easy to spot.

Almost all of my summer plans right now start with, "And since I'm not pregnant this year ...".
We'll see how much I'm actually able to conquer fetus-less.
Your flowers are beautiful. I can't wait to see them in all of their summer glory soon!
Love Love Love those Spring flowers!! You have such a green thumb that everything will grow well. Maybe you can come and "encourage" my plants when I get them in.
Looking forward to Spring break.
See you on Tuesday.
Betsy
I see those beautiful flowers made the blog. Great job on the spring clean up. I need to work a little at a time cleaning up the yard and flower bed. I haven't been pregant for 6 years and it still seems like I never get it all done.
your flowers are amazing! I too am saying...since I am not pregnant...but I have to fight off the deer, so we will see!
I didn't have the pregnant excuse - I would say "I have a newborn". This year..."we're moving soon, I dont' want to invest in something we're not going to live in". All just excuses.
Love your flowers. You and my mom are the best flower growers I know!
It's so nice to see a splash of color! I'll be calling you and Amanda to come help me with flowers once we have our own place!
It was such a beautiful day out. Since I can't garden worth a dang, I went to the park instead. Maybe you can send your gardening knowledge my way.
Isn't it nice to get the kids out and get some fresh air. Nice flowers.
enlighten me...what are those flowers?
Laura, they are an early flowering tulip, I don't know the name of them. They are shorter than your average tulip, but still very cute. :)
