The kids really enjoy the swing set. They spend HOURS out there. However, it has seen better days (it was a hand-me-down that already had years of love before we inherited it). So get ready for this... we are looking to build a nice sturdy wooden swing set!!! With the help of Mickie K. Sr., I believe my dreams really will come true. AND he said if we name our next child after him he would give us a sweet discount. Done.

Are you going to become the Veihl 8? Is that what you are trying to cleverly say?
I am not pregnant. I repeat- I am not pregnant. Today.
nice.
so mickey or k or sr. which is it?
I can't wait to see the finished product. Does Mickie construct such swing sets often? Just a hobby? Curious because we want to build one also and are looking for ideas/plans/help. :)
Laurie- Casey approached him about it. He still builds a few decks on the side, so he has all the tools and what-not. He brought a picture to church to show Casey and we said, "Yes!" We will have 3 swings, no slide, but a platform they can climb onto, and a sandbox!!!!
Sara- I haven't decided yet. :)
Hmmmm, maybe he would be willing to lend out his tools. Addie is still too little for most of that, but maybe next year.
You do know, they will be leaping from the platform. :)
How fun! Now we'll have to come over to visit for sure!!
Ooooh. Too bad you don't live here. Ben just built one for our kiddos from some scrap material and a hand-me-down slide. I can take some pictures if you want more ideas. Ours has a sandbox, too.
And you were jealous of the treehouse! Congratulations!
can't wait!!
A new swing set - very exciting. You'll never get them to come inside now!
