When Rachel's kindergarten teacher said the students would be writing sentences by the end of the year, I thought it seemed impossible. But here we are, not even 2 months into the school year, and she IS writing sentences! I just took this picture a minute ago, I made her correct her backward "s", but that's it.

She is such a smart girl, and what lovely penmanship (sp?) too!
What a good little student, she writes better than some of the older kids.

In the basement there is a chalkboard. The people who used to live here apparently liked chalkboards, there is one in the garage, too.
