We are Never Bored

TV? What? On a summer night? The Veihl children have other ideas, such as let's line up all our junk and see if we can walk on it all the way to mom's garden! Come on, join in the fun.

Headwound Harry found his helmet before he attempted the course.

I later asked Adam if he had made it to the end. He said, "Of course, I'm your son." I'm not sure what to think about that. I guess it means I don't raise no quitters.

You have some very creative kids there. I'm glad you are talking lots of picture of them just enjoying themselves. They will cherish all these pictures in the future. I can hear it now "Remember when....."

That is too funny! Before I read the caption under the pic of Tommy, I said to myself "at least he wore a helmet!"

That is great fun. I remember when I us to play game like that. It is great that you got pictures of them climbing on it. You should scrapbook this for them later, maybe even include some of the comments people make about them.

Sarah, that's a great idea!

Pam, Thomas is always screaming bloody murder. I can't believe DHS hasn't showed up on my doorstep yet.

Where are you from..."I don't raise no quitters." Do you live in the Deep South? Do you actually have all of your teeth? I think that I've seen your kind down in the holler...with the kid wearing a helmet with absolutely no bike around.

just kidding, of course.

Cathy, probably Adam. He is the leader of the pack with these sorts of activities. I was doing dishes and when I looked up they were all working together to make the line. Whatever keeps them quiet.

In my family, it was Ben that typically had these ideas. We had fun growing up, too! These pics bring back good memories. Glad your kids aren't glued to the boob tube.
