I am so happy that the baby sleeps a lot. I was worried that I would neglect the other children when Anna was born, but as usual I worried for nothing. Here is Abby, 21 months old, and happy as a clam playing in the backyard tonight. I skipped their baths because they were having so much fun running around chasing each other. They wanted me to race with them, but Adam gets really upset when I win. And then he gets mad when I let him win. He is so fickle.

I worry that I'll ignore the other children, too. Then I worry that I'll ignore the baby. And back and forth. When I reason with myself, I see that everyone is perfectly fine - even if it means slightly less attention for a time.
Enjoy your evening adventures. School starts in just over a week. Glad everyone is thriving.

Jenny, I think the same thing, how can she get any cuter? And I know ALL parents think this about their kids.

I thought I'd have a hard time with Hannah and James AND Evan with giving the right amount of attention. I thought wrong. It seems like the baby has always been here and we all just share our time with him.
