My Secret

I would really like to play the banjo. Why? Because I think it's cool!

If money, time, or kids weren't an issue, what would you like to learn to do?
(Laurie is going to say skydiving, that crazy sister-in-law of mine)

I tried the guitar. I've been sky diving and would recommend that. I would like to learn the fiddle and be the chicken at the baseball game!

Time and money no issue? I'd like to go to some cake decorating classes and learn how to make fancy cakes.

Kara, you know me so well. :) I would like to try skydiving, or I wouldn't mind learning how to fly a hot air balloon. Then I could buy my own balloon and give rides...hmmmm I just happen to know people who are certified to give me lessons. Maybe someday...

Dean would like to learn how to play the drums.

Brian wants a banjo next for his stringed instrument collection (we already have 4 guitars, a bass guitar and a mandolin). I would learn to play the violin!

If I could I would gather all the cookbooks I could, have someone have all the ingredients ready for me and cook and bake until my hearts content.

Good post.
I secretly want to write books -both children's and fiction. I also want to learn how to decorate cakes.

I just read the previous comments from others about cake decorating. I didn't know it was so popular. JoAnn's has classes and so does Mary's Creative Cakery on Gratiot Rd. I have never been able to fit it in my schedule.

Jackie, I LOVE Mary's Creative Cakery. I get all my candy making supplies from them. Such a nice family owned business. Maybe that's something else I could do...open my own candy shop.

I would buy the camera of my dreams, a Mac, and design/photo software, and I then would jump into the world of photography. I could be your professional photographer capturing all the fun things you guys want to do! Oh, and I'd like to write books, too!

Amber, you should start on those books TODAY!

Oh gosh - the banjo does look enticing. So does skydiving. But I'm going to stick with something more domestic - knitting, embroidering and sewing. I can sew, but it hurts my brain to try. I'd like to do these things and actually have them be relaxing

Kate, living in KY do you know anybody that plays the banjo? My grandpa played the accordian, couldn't read one note of music, but he was great.
