The Best Day of the Year
Today is Dec, 4- our 9 year anniversary! We celebrated yesterday because it was easier for Casey to get work off on Wednesday. My mom and grandma came for the day to watch the kids, and we ran all over town spending all our money. We shopped at Kohl's, had lunch at Applebee's, went to the mall, Family bookstore, dinner at Red Lobster, Barnes and Noble, and finally back home. We have so much fun together, it really doesn't matter where we are. I often wonder why God is so good to me. I don't deserve him. He is a wonderful man. But I will just trust that HE knows what he is doing and I'll rest in that. In the mean time I need to do a few laps around the block to burn off this cheesecake.

I am so glad you guys had such a great day!
Happy Anniversary!
how fun :)
so did you get your Christmas shopping all done ? !
eating out 2 times in one day with no kids, how awesome is that !!!!!
Happy Anniversary!! We love you guys. Glad you had a great day.
Steph, we got a lot of shopping done, but not all of it.
We hadn't been to Red Lobster in years, so that was really yummy!!!
Wow, congrats on the 9 years. That sounds like a perfect day to me too :)
wow!!! I can't believe you've almost been married 10 YEARS!! We must have just been married when we were babes.
congrats!!
Hooray for you both. It is always a good day to be together and enjoy each other's company.
Happy anniversary! I hope you can still be as excited about spending a day together after 50 years (or more). Shopping wouldn't be my first choice (it comes right after getting my teeth cleaned), but the food sure sounds great. The look on both of your faces certainly gets the imagination working about what you two were thinking.
glad you had so much fun! isn't marriage wonderful!?!
First I was going to say: WOW, five kids in NINE YEARS. I admire you. Then I did our family's math: two kids to raise here, one born to heaven, five years of marriage... we could EASILY have five by the time we hit our nine-year anniversary! :o) Kind of an odd thought.
Congratulations! I'm so glad your day was enjoyable and it sounds exactly like a day Ben and I would do for our anniversary. In my opinion no good date is complete without a trip to the bookstore! :o)
Happy Anniversary! Glad you guys got to have a date together.
Hi Elly's mom! So glad you commented. Yes, you could had 5 kids within the next few years! I miscarried our first early on and I felt so horrible I thought maybe I wasn't meant to have children. But now look at what we have! And I can always rest in the fact that I will see that little face someday. :)
I totally missed this! I'm sorry!
I'm glad you had a great day. It sounds wonderful! Congratulations on nine years. Do you have big plans for your tenth?
Melissa, when we were first married we didn't take a honeymoon. We told ourselves that we would go to Hawaii on our 10th. HA! Ha hahahahahha! Not going to happen. I can't even go camping for a night and I'm sick without the kids. We'll probably just spend the night somewhere local for our 10th.
