Yesterday's excitement occurred at the dentist office- I have braces on my top teeth now. I try to cock my head so you don't see the ugly side.
I couldn't figure out how to balance Anna on top, so we just left her out.
Rachel is getting Anna started on early reading.

I had braces when I was in my 30's. My family likes to remind me of the time I was wrestling with the kids and got my braces hung up in the carpet. Cathy had to cut me loose. I was stuck face down. They told me that I would only need to wear them 18 months. I didn't get them off for over 4 years! Have fun.
Phil, I've always loved the carpet story. And as for 4 years of braces- that does stink. I am praying it goes according to plan. If not I can find the tools to pluck them off.

I'm one of five also and I think we have a picture of us in that same pile! What a fun life your kids have. We LOVED our big family. (and without ever having actually met you, I think your second daughter has your eyes!)
