It's Monday

I love that I can come home for lunch on Monday's. I thought my flowers were looking exceptionally beautiful at noon.

We do our part for the neighborhood watch program.

This morning Tommy lost his crib. Casey put together a toddler bed for him, he really likes it.

This summer we hope to paint the bedrooms so we can have a "boy" room and "girl" room. It looks like they will get along splendidly!

Rachel got a package in the mail today- from Sahknaa! A box full of clothes, how nice is that? Here is Rachel modeling a pair of pj's, these were a winner in her book.

I'd trust those two boys with my property in a heartbeat....they're die-hard neighborhood watchmen. You must be proud, Kara.

I think Kara is the one who taught them.

LaBo, I have no idea what you're talking about.
Sarah, before I took this picture they were actually out there with their water guns trying to squirt the lady through the fence.

James would be proud of their stellar watchman skills. Maybe he'll let them use his badge next time :)
And Kara, I fing myslef being doing little neighborhood watching myself. The people across the street have so much going on in their yard!

Pam, I feel I've been slacking on my neighborhood spying, I mean observing. Nothing ever happens on this street. Casey has to remind me sometimes to be thankful- he said he was starting to worry about me when he found me out on Benjamin Street at 2 am in my pj's yelling at the Doberman next door. I have no shame.

I loved those stories, but I'm glad your neighborhood is not as exciting. Moving here to us is like you guys moving from benjamin to where you are now. Not as much excitement.

p.s. Your flowers are beautiful!

i thought i would say something witty about your kids getting their 'neighborhood watch' skills/obsession from their mother, but then i read the comments and discovered that everyone else in the blogosphere had already thought the same thing.
i guess you can't complain that nobody knows who you really are...

Also, thanks for the birthday card. I have to admit that I don't remember when your birthday is, but I do remember that I'm not quite as old as you are!

(This is how I try to make/keep friends)

I came across your blog when I was trying to find Laura Lea Relph. We went to boot camp together. Could you give her my email address? It is erasethispartand thenkarencpeebles@gmail.com. Just send it on as is so that the spammers of the world will stay away from my gmail.! Thank you so very much. KP
