Abby's had a bad day. I guess we all have those. She's cried a lot and her nose is running. As you can see by the pictures, Tommy is very concerned about his baby sister. He is such a brute, but when it comes to Abby he is as delicate as can be. I was getting everybody ready for bed and she was having another fit. He layed next to her on the floor and kept patting her chest so gently. I hope he will always be this protective of his sis.

Do everything you can to encourage him to treat his sister well. So many brothers and sisters develop poor relationships, which start early sometimes. I am so glad that Pam and Chris are such good friends.
I think it's "in" big brothers to be protective. James is a goofball most of the time, but don't mess with his sister. He walks her to the bus stop and makes sure noone is mean to her. It's great!

It must be a "big" brother thing because my little brother wasn't always so nice. :)
I agree with Kelly, my little brother wasn't always nice to me either, but he is now. :)
I've really enjoyed all your comments on this. Coming from a family with just me and my brother it has been interesting watching the 4 of them interact, you know the whole middle child thing.
