This is what I saw out the kitchen window when I opened the blinds this morning!
We got about a foot of snow yesterday, and it was blowing like crazy! Casey got home from work about 11:00, I can't believe he made it down our street, it was really bad. He had to shovel so he could pull into the driveway. It was too deep to use Lou's snowblower today, so Casey did some more shoveling. The plows just went through a few minutes ago, so Casey is relieved that he can make it to work this afternoon. I am kind of sad about that. :(
A- my mother swears by mucinex, I will have to try it sometime. Not that I'm looking forward to it or anything.
Sarah- Rachel LOVED the sleds!
Jackie- I grew up out in the thumb, there was LOTS of lake effect snow, we would get so excited to see the guy with the plow coming for our driveway, that meant a huge pile to play on!
This reminds me of us kids playing outside when we were younger. I used to be able to climb out my bedroom window and slide right down the snow banks. :) Tunnels were always fun too.

The snow was so crazy - I loved it. It reminds me of the amount of snow we used to get when we were little. Lots of fun!

Looks fun. I wouldn't mind a day like that with homemade soup waiting inside. We still haven't gotten any snow here.
