Rainy Day

OK, I am not so mopey today. Amanda took Adam and Rachel for a couple hours this afternoon. To have no whining from Tommy that entire time was just heavenly. Amanda even dropped off a blueberry cobbler to make me feel better. What a sweetie. :)
The cool temperature is wonderful, so nice to shut off the noisy air conditioner for a while! I am thankful for the rain, but my brother who is a farmer is not so happy. The hay can get moldy and it's hard to get the wheat off. They are having their baby Aug. 8, we are hoping and praying all goes smoothly with Jen's c-section, it is hard to work around a farm schedule and he likes to do everything himself. Such a workaholic. So that's about it for today.

They were funny. We talked about what they could do when we got here on the way and Adam(the bug farmer) said I want to play in your house its the best! Kara he cleaned andrews room!!! REALLY!!! He pick up the books and was running the sweaper when I went in. He said I did this all by myself! There was no fighting or whinning. It went really well.

Cobbler!!! thats what I wanted to make!!! I kept thinking crisp. I may find a recipe now that i know what i was trying to make!!! Yummy!

And yeah it is cold! Love it. I for you and jen and all the pregnant ladies!

Glad you're feeling better. It is so refreshing to have less children to care for at this point, isn't it? I miss my babes when my mother in law takes them. But I think it's better for the whole family when I get some time away.

Glad today was a good day for you. Maybe it was something in the air - we had a good day too - no timeouts!!

Amanda - you are a good friend!

Amanda- Adam cleaned?!?!!? Are you sure it was Adam and not another daycare kid you mixed him up with?
You are funny, after I posted that I knew I called it the wrong thing, cobbler is good, too. :)

Melissa- yes, I just need to sit down sometimes but they have been kind of crazy lately. They are counting the days until I have this baby and we can go to "Grandpa George's beach." (My in-laws live pretty close to a little lake, the kids love it)

Jackie- so glad you had a good day too!!!

Kara, maybe you and your Jen will have your babies on the same day. :) I thought her due date was a little further apart from yours.

Well, they scheduled the c-section a week before her due date, so you are correct! My mom is hoping we don't go on the same day,I don't think she can handle that kind of stress.

I don't know Amanda, but bless her heart, she sounds sweet. Hang in there. These last few days are the best and the hardest at the same time.

Glad your rainy day turned out nice!
Amanda, when we buy a house (whenever that will be), I'll have to make sure it's near yours so you can bake me treats if I get pregnant again!

I really didn't like the rainy day because I got caught out in it delivering papers I was soaked :( But it was nice to have the cooler temps.

Yes amber your house should be near mine. BUT if it not I will run them all the way out to tim-buck-two!
