Today's Bounty

Three tomatoes were picked today. I sent them home with my parents, they seemed quite excited about them. My grandma even came along to visit, that was a nice surprise. :) I was glad I made a blueberry pie this morning, my dad has grown to expect treats when he comes over.

There were 8 raspberries, but Amanda snagged 3 of them. It was the least I could do after she brought me that cute apron and a vase full of flowers.

Here is my precious little pumpkin that will make some delightful muffins for me.

Looks yummy! I'm enjoying the Hazen's garden since they're gone -it can't go to waste!

Mmmmmmm I LOVE a good ripe garden tomato. They don't grow well in our sandy soil so I went out to the farmers market this morning to get my basket full. Nothing beats a BLT with fresh veggies and bacon. Yep we have a local pig farmer that sells us our bacon.
Miss you a ton!!!

I haven't keep up on my garden this year so it isn't doing so well we will have to see if anything comes out of it this year.

I am so jealous. My garden looks good but may not be getting enough sun. The green tomatoes are there but they aren't changing. Between the flowers and the vegetables, you must have an amazing yard, Kara!

Impressive bounty for that big belly! Had lots of laughs as I updated on your life, and everyone else's on my vacation. I haven't even looked out in Kraig's garden for anything yet. Enjoy the day all.

Chris K! We missed you this morning! Will you be at the picnic tonight?

Laura- My yard is not as great as I try to make it look. It's rather sparse, so I take lots of close-ups of everything so you can't tell.

Pam- my parents would live on greenbeans, BLT's, and cucumbers from the garden all summer long.
Boy, that bacon sure sounds good. Salty shouldn't taste so good when you're pregnant, it's not fair.

I am going to try and make the picnic...laundry, after vacation can be a little overwhelming. By the way, how is Tracey doing? Which Grandma is on hospice?

While I am happy about your garden, I am impatient about this baby. (Am I rude or what?!?!) I keep waiting for a blog that says "I'm in labor and won't be posting today". I thought you said all your babies come early?
