I had a check up today at the O.B. office. Blood pressure-fine. Urine- fine. Weight- fine. I have 5 1/2 weeks to go. Casey says I might make it 2 more weeks. We'll see. Dr. H. said this will be the one to go to the due date. I think not. He has no idea how my pelvis feels. He asked if my bag was packed. I said "No, the hospital has everything I need." He suggested I have my camera and chapstick ready to go. Will do.
Oh, and I need to wash some baby clothes. I'll do that tomorrow.

I can't believe it's so close. This pregancy went really quick! I can't wait to meet her :)
Wow!!! I can't wait - although I suppose my excitement is nothing compared to yours!
Ha. I feel the same way about what to bring to the hospital. I remember being pregnant with Jacob and having this detailed list of things I'd gotten from the internet somewhere. Not so much anymore.
awww wahing baby clothes..
My neighbor said with your first you back a bag 2 months before you deliver, with your second you do it 2 weeks before and with your third your just so busy you completly forget and just go! I believe it. Does it feel like you have been pregnant forever yet? I know you said its painful. but you look like you are doing well.
I forgot one more thing- must take toothbrush. :)
Yes, A, I'm doing fine. My mom said, "I keep waiting for my call to come and help you!" With Abby I was so uncomfortable my mom came frequently the last few weeks to help me out when Casey was at work, but I've been doing alright!
My cousin would say take your own tiolet paper! I like taking my own BIG underware and pads (sorry guys T.M.I.).
I thought this pregnancy of yours went by fast too. Maybe because I was pregnant too. Can't wait to meet her, call me if you need me.
Oh how fun! The countdown begins. I took nothing when I had Elise and you are right, the hospital has almost everything. They even gave me a toothbrush.
Thanks Laurie, you know I will.
Amanda, I use whatever the hospital gives me, I especially get a chuckle out of the big stretchy net underewear. I can't believe you would pass up the opportunity to wear those.
Kate, we are just a couple miles from the hospital and Casey frequently runs back and forth to the house to check on the other kiddos, so I never feel like I'm without something, he can grab it any time!
I like the net underwear. This time it did go by very fast. If you need anything you can call me or the girls can come help out with the other kiddo's.
I can't wait to meet her either!! How exciting..You sound very calm! I have been washing baby clothes myself...but I hate laundry ...so I am not finding it so fun! :) I'm so excited for you and can't wait until she's born so I know what to call her besides...well..her! :)
Jen, I am feeling pretty calm this time. I remember feeling very anxious when I was pregnant with Abby worrying about labor pain (Thomas was only about 3 1/2 hours, but it seemed to hurt so bad!). But Abby went pretty easy- even though it was the longest labor, so I am hoping for another easy one!
will pray you go close to the very end since you have other kiddos at home. would hate to see hospital trips etc. if too early ! your a trooper, keep a bakin then that little girl will keep cookin :) do you have a name yet ?? my friend had a perfectly good seat she just gave away wish i would have know you needed one. i know there are expirations but if you keep them good and watch your straps it should be fine. make sure they are not wearing down. i called cosco the company that made our eddie bauer one and you can actually pay 2-4 dollars depending on seat and they will send new straps !!! thats exactly what i did because everything is still in good shape. i just think these carseat company's want us to buy buy buy. ugg :)
